Harriet Turkanis, a native New Yorker, was educated in Boston and chose Cape Elizabeth, ME for home in 1978 where she raised four children with her husband Michael.

It was, however, the inspirational background that supported her ingenuity and creativity as a daily staple. Her passion for drama and magic became part of her every day life. She loved helping her mom transform herself into "red carpet royalty". The things we added – a rhinestone tiara, sequined shoes, vintage jewelry – all gave her mom that special touch of glamour. Harriet believes every woman should feel that flirt with imagination!

All her designs are original and define their personality and irresistibility by the use of fibers and findings she has found through her travels all over the world. By combining the artistry of knit, crochet, embroidery, beading, and jewelry making, her designs are able to take on many directions.

She believes women should, "love what they have and have what they love". So in the every day accessory, edgy meets elegance.

Her wardrobe candy now includes hair accessories, key rings, brooches, eyeglass cases, journals, tees, tanks, flip flops, hand bags, clutches, belts, media cases, fobs, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and hangers.
